Study Direct Stream(SDS）

The SDS is both time efficient and economical for qualified candidates. You may consider the SDS as an express pathway as opposed to the regular stream because most SDS applications can be processed within 20 calendar days. However, the SDS is only available for the legal residents of the following countries:

• China

• India

• Morocco

• Pakistan

• the Philippines

• Senegal

• Vietnam

If you are a legal resident of these countries, you are in luck. Under the SDS, you are required to submit a language test result, proof of paid tuition, proof of funds for living expenses by purchasing the GIC, and an upfront medical exam etc. As you can see, the requirements are specific and cumbersome comparing to the ones of a Regular study permit. Despites all that, many of our clients find the SDS is a more advantageous way to obtain a study permit.
